"Our home in the sun"

We built Casa do Chave ("House of the Key") in 1997 and have had some extremely happy times there since then. The villa looks out onto Pinheiros Altos golf course and unspoilt countryside but is only some fifteen minutes away from Faro airport itself accessible in under 2 1/2 hours from most UK and European airports including LHR, LGW, Stansted, Luton, East Midlands, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow and Leeds.

Guests at our five bed roomed villa are only a few minutes away from the beach and can have use of a convertable mini, heated pool, large TV room with Sky Plus, broadband, daily maid service and the chance to play golf at Pinheiros Altos golf club (Tim was Club Captain there 2006). The 27 hole golf course is used as a qualifying course for the PGA seniors tour, is highly regarded.

There are of course many amenities in the area (Central Algarve) and the standard of local restaurants cannot, in our view, be matched outside of a big city. As you would expect from a family home the villa is a fun place to stay as well as luxurious and for instance there is a gym (with powerplate machine), a separate and large TV room with Sky Plus, videos, DVD's and Ipod and Broadband Internet connections as well as a heated pool with secure electric pool cover and jacuzzi. There is also an outside kitchen and "Breeze House". You can just about see us leaving in the photograph above but we are always sad to do so!
